Two Kelvin Grove army offices and one Wynnum cottage were saved from demolition and moved to a bushland setting at the Gap. These three buildings have been converted to a Kids wing, Living wing and Parent wing linked with covered verandahs around a central grassed courtyard to provide flexible family living with growing teenagers. As a project in recycling the stainless steel kitchen and laundry benches were throw outs from restaurant refits and even the deep bath found in the horse paddock was restored.
